Lester and Wendy, from Manassas, Virginia, were visiting Harrisonburg for the first time when they spotted Shirley’s, a gourmet popcorn shop, and decided to try it out.

They described the atmosphere as “friendly” and the popcorn as “very good, light, and airy.” They are not the only customers to leave Shirley’s satisfied.

Shirley’s Gourmet Popcorn Company, a small franchise started in Bluffton, Ohio, is unique in its production of gourmet popcorn. All of the popcorn is made fresh every day in small batches, using corn from local farms in Dayton, Virginia.
