Rocktown Bicycles offers mountain bikes, road bikes
Whether you are looking for mountain bikes or road bikes, Rocktown Bicycles, named after Rockingham County and its rocky terrain, offers a lot of variety of bikes. While Rocktown isn’t exactly a place for teens to hang out, they have a youth mountain biking team, called Shenrock. This is a good way for kids to go outside and have fun.
Since its opening in 2013, Rocktown hosts kids and adults of all ages. Kelly Paduch is the Assistant Manager of Rocktown.
“With more people on bikes, it helps the world around us,” Paduch says.

They have mountain, road, kids and women’s bikes. They also host tournaments and races.
“I do a lot of women specific things. We found it really empowering for women to learn how to ride or work on a bike,” Paduch said
Paduch, a Harrisonburg native, said the store is an excellent cure of boredom. “Rocktown is about being friendly to everyone and having fun,” she said.
